Tal is a Lover of love, seeker of depths and soul questions, a Good friend, a community builder, a bringer of play and nonverbal knowing, and a song maker/carrier, whose special interest is people and relationships. He is a trans, – genderfluid, gender queer, transmasc, trans gay boy – queer, white, anti-Zionist Jew. Tal was born and raised in San Francisco, California, and currently resides in Oakland (Ohlone Land).
Professionally Tal is an AMFT therapist working from a heart-centered, decolonial orientation. Tal works with teens, adults, couples and polycules, groups, and family systems. He loves to work with clients who feel deeply and want a space to be witnessed in their intensity and expression, and to be held as their emotions and body process through all realms of life.
He is excited to change the field of therapy towards being a more warm, relational, love-centered field. He loves all his clients deeply and knows that centering his heart in his work is what builds lengthy and trusting relationships with his clients. He loves the field of therapy, both as a therapist and client, because it constantly puts him in contact with his own relational, emotional, and spiritual growth as a human, pushing him to continue inquiring into himself, his relationships, and the world. Tal invites in clients who feel or desire the same.
